Trusting Jesus in the space between the loss and the rescue! (Part Two)

Genesis 14:11 doesn’t feel like a hopeful verse on its own. It reads like a headline from the worst kind of news. The enemy came, took everything, and left. As believers in Jesus, sometimes we find ourselves in moments like this. Not in physical danger necessarily, but in seasons where it feels like everything we built or hoped for has been taken. The plan we trusted didn’t work out. The relationship we invested in ended. The opportunity we were sure of disappeared. We stand in the aftermath and wonder where God is in the rubble.
