Don’t wait for the storm to pass. Learn to dance in the rain! (Part Two)

Biblically, “learning to dance in the rain” means choosing to praise God, find joy, and grow in your faith during difficult times instead of waiting for your problems to disappear. James 1:3–4 explain that testing produces endurance, which builds spiritual maturity and completeness. You can have joy because God uses hard times to shape your character. Dancing in the rain is an outward expression of this inward, God-given joy that does not depend on easy circumstances. I’m talking about praising Jesus through the storm! Acts 16:25 shows Paul and Silas praying and singing hymns to God while locked in a dark prison. They were not waiting for the prison doors to open before they worshipped; they praised God right in the middle of their hardship.
