Moving Towards Perfection!
Every person who has put their faith in Jesus for salvation is for the rest of their life moving towards perfection, to becoming like Christ. This is part of God’s purpose for salvation, to create for Himself a people who are Christlike, “conformed to the image of His Son” (Romans 8:29). The goal is that Jesus would be the “firstborn among many brothers” (Romans 8:29), highlighting His preeminence and the shared family likeness (perfection) of believers. ~Dr. Robert L. Tayl
