Hold on to God’s unchanging hand!

From the desk of Dr. Robert L. Taylor, Th.D. Speaking of God, the psalmist puts it this way: “Of old You founded the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. Even they will perish, but You endure; And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not come to an end” (Psalm 102:25-27). “Holding on to God’s unchanging hand” means relying on and trusting in God’s constant presence and unwavering love, even when circumstances in life change around you, as the belief is that God’s character and promises remain steadfast and reliable, like a hand you can always grasp onto for support and guidance; it signifies unwavering faith in God’s constancy. In other words, when the world feels unstable, which is all the time, hold fast to God's unchanging hand. He is the steady rock beneath our feet, the foundation that will never be moved. No matter what comes our way, we can trust that God is with us, guiding us, and holding us close. Hold on to God’s unchanging hand! Be encouraged!
