In the Bible, providence refers to God's active, wise, and powerful guidance and care for all of His creation, upholding and directing everything toward His purposes, not by chance but by His sovereign will, ensuring even small details serve His greater plans, a concept rooted in "seeing before" to provide. It's God's ongoing work of preservation, governance, and sustenance, assuring believers He is aware and involved in every aspect of life to meet their needs and fulfill His promises. Although wickedness, suffering, and Satanic influence are rampant, they are not operating independently of God's ultimate sovereignty. Evil is allowed within strict, ordained limits, and God uses even evil actions to achieve His good purposes, ultimately ensuring its defeat. Be encouraged!
