Divine Providence and the Will of God (Conclusion)

Divine providence is considered a source of great comfort, as it promises that absolutely nothing in creation exists outside of God's control, ensuring that everything ultimately serves His higher purpose. His providence fosters patience in trials and thankfulness in blessings, anchoring faith by seeing His purposeful and powerful hand in every event, even painful ones, to fulfill His greater, glorious plan. This understanding brings peace and assurance, confirming God's personal, wise, and continuous involvement in life, directing even evil toward ultimate good for His people's salvation and His own glory. Yes, the concept that God uses rulers—both righteous and wicked—to accomplish His own glory, purpose, and sovereign will is a fundamental theme of biblical providence. He actively governs all creatures, events, and nations to achieve His ultimate, wise, and holy plans. Let’s get our eyes off of what presidents and their administrations are doing, and onto God’s providence! Be encouraged!
