"And His Name is Called The Word of God" (Revelation 19:13)

For the Christ follower, this particular name is one in which we should know with complete certainty! This particular name is one in which we should be very intimate with! If forced to choose the one endeavor of my life as a Christ follower over many others, I without the slightest hesitation, would choose the reading and study of the "Word of God!" If a Christ follower is committed to the Word of God, he or she will become a person that will worship and honor God, serve in the local place of worship, fellowship with other Christ followers, and be involved in telling others about how amazing Jesus is! It's the Word of God that brings change to our lives. It's the Word of God that must be understood, embraced, and acted upon. Let me encourage you with the words of apostle Paul, "For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe" (1 Thessalonians 2:13). Pay careful attention to the phrase, "which also performs its work in you who believe!" Your move. Be encouraged!
