What does it mean to walk by faith, not by sight? (Conclusion)

Looking at things not seen through faith means focusing on eternal spiritual realities (God, His promises, future glory) rather than temporary worldly things, using faith as your guide to perceive what the physical senses can't, finding a confident expectation in the unseen eternal realities that far outweigh present struggles, and trusting God's unseen work and presence in your life, as described in 2 Corinthians 4:18 and Hebrews 11:1. Actually, the things which are unseen are more real than the things which are seen! Why is that? It’s because of permanence. Physical things decay and disappear, but spiritual realities endure forever. Also, it’s because of foundation. The unseen realm (God and His spiritual world) created and sustains the seen, physical realm (Genesis 1:1, Hebrews 11:3). Lastly, because it’s commanded of us by God. It’s to be the focus of faith. Living by faith and not by sight is not a suggestion, it’s a command! Believers are called to live by faith in the invisible, trusting God's presence and promises beyond what their eyes can perceive. It’s a vastly superior way of living. In essence, Scripture presents a multi-dimensional reality where the spiritual (unseen) is the ultimate reality, and the physical (seen) is a temporary reflection or manifestation of it. Let’s get busy walking by faith, and not by sight! Be encouraged!
