Divine Providence and the Will of God (Part Two)

Through divine providence God accomplishes His will. To ensure that His purposes are fulfilled, God governs the affairs of men. In governing the affairs of men, God is in absolute, sovereign control of all creation and history, working His purposes through every event, nation, and individual, even using evil for ultimate good, ensuring nothing happens outside His will or permission, and that His ultimate plans will prevail over human ambition. Divine Providence states confidently and forcefully God's active, wise rule, not randomness or fate, with human responsibility existing alongside His control. In Part Three, we’ll examine some biblical examples of divine providence. Be encouraged!
