Biblical sowing and reaping (Galatians 6:7) is not equivalent to Buddhist and Hindu karma, as they originate from opposite worldviews regarding God, justice, and salvation. Sowing and reaping operates within one lifetime based on accountability to a personal, merciful God, while karma is an impersonal, inescapable force that excludes the concept of divine grace and is the process of continuous birth and death, where the soul reincarnates to resolve past karma, balancing good and bad actions over multiple lifetimes. The Bible teaches that God is a personal judge over sowing and reaping, allowing for mercy, redemption, and forgiveness through Jesus! Karma is an impersonal cosmic law that operates mechanically, offering no mercy or forgiveness for bad acts. I’m so glad that God doesn’t give me what I deserve! Be encouraged!
