The Bible declares, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19). The verse emphasizes God’s unchanging nature, truthfulness, and the reliability of His promises and actions. God's nature is fundamentally different from humans, who may lie or change their minds. It affirms God’s faithfulness to His word, in that what God speaks, He will inevitably follow through on. The verse emphasizes the reliability of God’s promises! The core message is about God's unwavering faithfulness and the certainty that His promises will be fulfilled. God's faithfulness is not merely an abstract attribute but a dynamic reality that invites a response of trust and commitment from His followers. Embracing God's faithfulness means trusting in His constant, unwavering reliability and love, even when life is difficult. It involves actively remembering His promises and past actions, which builds confidence that He will remain true to His character and provide for you through all circumstances. This trust is a response to His nature—He is loyal, keeps His word, and never abandons His people. Embracing God's faithfulness is an invitation to trust, a call to obedience, and a source of hope and strength for believers. Be encouraged!
