Who does God consider His enemies?

Paul teaches, “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (Romans 5:10). Who does God consider His enemies? In Romans 5:10 and Colossians 1:21 Paul explains who one group of God's enemies are. These are all unsaved people. These are people alienated from God, hostile in mind toward Him. Those who trust in Jesus are reconciled or made friendly to God by Jesus’ death, even though we were God's enemies, because of our sin. Accepting Jesus’ death in our place for our sin made it possible for us to enter into a real and personal relationship with God. Be reconciled to God!
