Understanding & Embracing Isaiah 41:10 (Part Two)

1 min read

The verse breaks down into four essential biblical concepts: “Do not fear, for I am with you.” The antidote to anxiety is not self-reliance, but the comforting realization that God is continually present with the believer. “Do not anxiously look about you.” The Hebrew word for anxious implies looking around in panic or feeling overwhelmed by external threats. God counters this by claiming a personal, covenantal relationship with the individual—declaring “I am your God.”
