This Gift of Hope!

There is a hopelessness of those without God who have nothing they can be sure of in the life to come, and so they have hope only in this world and are, therefore, truly most miserable. They drown their misery in alcohol, they drown their misery in sex, they drown their misery in entertainment, they drown their misery in acquisition, they drown it in sequential relationships. Somehow, some way they try to make something out of their hopelessness - quite different from those who know God.
