The will of God won’t take us where the grace of God can’t sustain us! (Part Two)

Paul told Timothy, “Grace be with you all” (1 Timothy 6:21). This verse is brief, but it carries much weight. Paul is offering a declaration of God's grace, a reminder that everything Timothy needed to continue keeping in step with the Holy Spirit had already been provided. The same is true for every believer. God provides the grace and the power to move forward in the faith. You do not have to generate spiritual energy and determination to keep moving forward on your own. In other words, grace fuels what faith begins! Paul teaches, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith” (Ephesians 2:8). Grace transforms from “saving grace” into “sustaining grace” enabling you to live out your faith.
