The will of God won’t take us where the grace of God can’t sustain us! (Part Four)

Faith starts the journey, but human effort alone cannot finish it. Grace acts as the fuel that prevents spiritual burnout caused by human effort alone. Paul perfectly captures this point when he teaches, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10). Paul worked to the point of exhaustion for the Gospel. He worked hard, but the internal strength, endurance, and ultimate results came from God’s sustaining grace working through him. Faith is your “Yes” to God. Grace is God’s power sustaining and enabling you to keep saying “Yes” daily. Together, they move a believer from initial belief to a changed life.
