The Eternal Security of Believers in Christ (Part Two)

The eternal security of the believer is the biblical teaching that once a person is saved by grace through faith in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9), God guarantees their salvation forever. Look at what Paul teaches us, “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39). Is Paul teaching the eternal security of the believer? Indeed, he is! Once saved by grace through faith, maintaining our salvation is not based on anything we do or don’t do. It’s based solely on God’s love for us. Be encouraged!
