The Best is Yet To Come!

For every believer in Christ, Jesus is our perfect Kinsman-Redeemer. Jesus as the Kinsman-Redeemer is the biblical concept of a near relative (kinsman) who rescues or restores a family member from spiritual poverty, slavery, or loss. Jesus fulfills this by becoming human to share our bloodline, willingly paying the debt of sin with His life to redeem humanity and restore our inheritance. Just as Boaz redeemed Naomi’s land in Ruth, Jesus restores the spiritual inheritance lost to sin, restoring our relationship with God. The Kinsman-Redeemer was responsible for avenging a relative's murder, specifically tasked to "put the murderer to death" upon meeting them, (Numbers 35:19). Jesus fulfills this by destroying the power of the devil and freeing humanity from the bondage of sin and death (Hebrews 2:14-15). Be encouraged!
