Spiritual Maturity (Conclusion)

Maturity in Christ is not about perfection but about growth and progress in our relationship with Christ. True growth shows up as the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and the ability to distinguish truth from error by properly using Scripture (Hebrews 5:12-14; Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 2:15). Spiritual maturity involves growing less dependent on ourselves and more dependent on the Holy Spirit. Mature believers understand and embrace the importance of abiding in the student-teacher relationship with Jesus Christ, because it brings continuous spiritual development. It’s a lifelong process that will not be over until we are with our Lord. Be encouraged!
