Scripture doesn’t minimize seasons of grieving! (Part Four)

Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy” (John 16:20). You may be in a season right now where grief feels overwhelming. Maybe you have experienced loss, disappointment, or heartbreak that has left you questioning what comes next. Maybe you are tired of hoping because hoping has hurt. This verse does not promise that the pain will disappear overnight. But it does promise that God is still at work, even when you cannot see it. It reminds you that grieving is not your final destination. It is part of the journey, but it is not the conclusion.
