Scripture doesn’t minimize seasons of grieving! (Conclusion)

Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy” (John 16:20). Grief that turns to joy is pain that becomes part of a larger story, one where God brings life from what looked like death. The sorrow you feel today means you are in the space between promise and fulfillment, between Friday and Sunday, between what was and what will be. Jesus invites you to hold both at once. To be honest about your grief and to trust that joy is coming. Not because circumstances will magically change, but because God does not ignore your heartache. He walks with you through it, and He promises that it will not have the final word.
