Scripture doesn’t minimize seasons of grieving!

Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy” (John 16:20). Just hours before His arrest and crucifixion, He knew they would face deep sorrow, confusion, and loss. And He told them the truth about it. He tells them their sorrow is real, and it is coming. But He also tells them something more!! He tells them it will not last forever. Hard times, sadness, and pain do not last forever. They are like a dark night, but relief and happiness will arrive with the new day.
