What Saul couldn't do with a battle, Esther did with a banquet!

King Saul’s disobedience and Queen Esther’s obedience present a striking biblical parallel, centered largely around the Amalekites. Saul failed to fully destroy Amalek and spared King Agag in 1 Samuel 15, passing the enemy down to future generations, and costing him his throne.
