Knowing the Jesus of the Bible

Based on the historical, archeological, and forensic evidence, Jesus was a Middle Eastern, Palestinian Jewish man with brown skin who lived in the region of Galilee/Judea (today's Palestine/Israel). This is contrary to the popular white image. He was born under occupation. He lived among the poor. He identified with the marginalized (groups of people excluded from mainstream social, economic, and educational life). He uplifted the oppressed. He flipped over the tables of exploitative political, religious and economic systems. That Jesus does not behave like Christian nationalism. He is not the Jesus of MAGA nationalism. He’s not the Jesus some invoke while defending segregation and racism. Let’s get to know the Jesus of the Bible!
