Examining what we believe about God’s goodness (Part Three)

We live in a world that teaches us to measure God’s goodness by the comfort of our circumstances. When things go well, we say God is good. When tragedy strikes, we question whether He is present at all. Job 2:10 challenges that framework entirely. He understood something we, along with his wife, often forget: God’s character does not shift based on what we are walking through. Job did not have answers. He did not know why his children had died or why his body started failing. He had no promise that relief was coming soon. But what he had was a belief that God remained faithful and trustworthy even when nothing else did.
