From the heart of Dr. R. L. Taylor, Th.D., Bible Expositor & Teacher. The single biggest problem in communicating is the illusion that it has taken place! Indeed, communicating effectively is considered a skill that needs to be acquired through practice and conscious effort, meaning it's not something people are naturally born with but can develop over time by learning techniques and actively working on improving their communication abilities. A crucial aspect of effective communication is caring enough to actively listen to the other person, which involves paying full attention, asking questions to ensure your understanding of their perspective, not just waiting to respond. Be encouraged!
