Any Bush Will Do!

From the heart of Dr. Robert L. Taylor, Th.D., Bible Teacher & Expositor. In Exodus 3:1-6, Moses is being taught a great spiritual lesson even by the method God used to get his attention! The lesson was this: Out of all the common bushes of that desert, one became eternally significant! In other words, the Lord demonstrated to Moses as well as to everyone who follows Jesus that ANY BUSH WOULD DO TO MANIFEST HIS GLORY AS LONG AS IT’S AVAILABLE! This particular bush was not different from any of the hundreds of others in the area-----except for one thing; God chose to engulf this bush with the glory of His presence! God wants to engulf the Christian with the glory of His Spirit! The statement “God wants to engulf the Christian with the glory of His Spirit” emphasizes and underscores the Christian’s call to be filled with the Holy Spirit as a continuous state of being, aligning themselves with God’s will and experiencing His presence and power. This signifies a deep connection and transformation, enabling them to live out God's glory in their lives and actions. The Holy Spirit is not just a gift, but a personal presence within the believer, guiding and empowering them. It is through the Holy Spirit that believers experience God’s love, wisdom, receive revelation, and are enabled to live a life that pleases God. Are you available to God? Be encouraged!
