A Reminder to Every Person in Christ

I’m talking about trusting God through government actions, including shutdowns! To trust God through government actions, believers can turn to Bible verses that emphasize God's ultimate sovereignty and wisdom, even in the face of human authority. A core principle is the understanding that all authority originates from God, and no worldly power can act outside of His will. Here’s an example: We read, “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:31-33). This passage, in the context of God's sovereignty, teaches that when believers prioritize seeking God's Kingdom and His righteousness, they are trusting in His supreme authority and His faithful provision, not in their own ability to meet their needs. Jesus assures that God, as a loving heavenly Father, knows what His followers require and will provide for them, thus freeing them from anxiety over material concerns. Praise God forevermore! Be encouraged!
